Lindsay Richards Braade

This course is facilitated by Lindsay Richards Braade, a Yoga-Alliance Certified Education Provider, 500-Hour Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher and Certified Ayurvedic Counselor through Dancing Shiva Yoga Ayurveda School.

Lindsay is the owner of Samata Living, a wellness organization offering both group and individual services. Individual services include personal training, private yoga instruction for adults and children, wellness coaching, Ayurvedic Consultations, handstand training and more. Group services include yoga teacher training, events, lectures and seminars in a variety of wellness, motivational and spiritual topics.

Lindsay has over 2,000 teaching and instructional hours as a 500-hour experienced registered yoga teacher (E-RYT- 500) via Yoga Alliance, is a Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider and Certified Ayurvedic Counselor.

Lindsay completed her first 200-hour yoga teacher training in Virginia Beach, VA in 2015, and a second 200-hour yoga teacher training specializing in Yoga Ayurveda and Ayurvedic Consultations in 2016. In 2017, Lindsay completed her 300-hour advanced yoga teacher training in Kerala, India with specialization in Ayurvedic Counseling, Energetic Anatomy and Therapeutic Yoga. Also in 2017, Lindsay completed a 50-hour certification in Rocket Ashtanga.

Lindsay has led multiple 200-hour and 300-hour yoga teacher trainings, seminars and motivational lectures. Her experience and expertise in teaching Ayurveda, Energetic Anatomy, History of Yoga, Philosophy of Yoga, Asana, Meditation, Yoga for Children, Hand and Arm Balancing have provided continued invitations to guest teach various modules within the 200-hour and 300-hour yoga teacher training curriculum both at local yoga studios in Hampton Roads, VA and worldwide in Bali, Costa Rica and India.

Lindsay is also a certified Personal Trainer and certified CrossFit Level-1 Trainer. In addition to her passion for health and wellness, Lindsay holds a Bachelor's Degree in Strategic Communications and Business Administration from Elon University, with over 10 years' professional experience in digital art, marketing and advertising. She loves being active, imaginative and spending time with her family and fellow creators.

    Our instructors are experienced not only in their field of expertise, but also in the virtual learning space. We are Experienced 500-Hour Registered Yoga Instructors and Certified Ayurvedic Counselors with well over 2,000 teaching and instructional hours.

  • Yoga-Alliance Certified

    All of our courses are Certified by Yoga Alliance. If you are a registered yoga teacher, you are required to complete 30 hours of Continuing Education Credits every 3 years. When you learn with us, you are able to work toward that requirement.
